Welcome to my website! Here, you can see the tech person side of me.
Professionally, I have mostly been an augmented reality person.
I have started with writing prototypes using Oculus DK1
and writing a rendering library for Samsung.
While this started quite out of my control--with a militrary service and a startup pivot--I have since stuck around.
Under my control, as an attempt to become a more balanced person, I did a social science PhD at Stanford at their Communication department.
It was at the Virtual Human Interaction Lab,
where Prof. Jeremy Bailenson allowed me to try out many things.
The one thing I liked the most was telepresence, which is approximately 3D video calls.
I liked it so much, I started a company, Telegie.
It started with some
love
from the Internet, but life is not that easy.
Right after that first fabulous public announcement of Apple Vision Pro, I decided to join Apple as a software engineer.
Since then, I have been working on things including Keyboard Breakthrough, Liquid Glass, and Visual Intelligence.
